Studio Policies

RESERVATIONS & SCHEDULING

Sessions are by appointment ONLY. Please call/text the studio at 732-216-8839 or email info@thepilatesperspective.com to schedule your appointments. Standing appointments are offered to clients who are able to maintain a regualr weekly appointment schedule. This works best for privates and duets, as having a consistant schedule will enforce the importance of your practice as “Patience and Persistance are vital qualities in the ultimate successful accomplishment of any worthwile endeavor.” -JH Pilates

Sessions are 55 minutes in length from the scheduled appointment time. Aim to arrive a few minutes before your lesson begins. If you arrive late for your scheduled private, the lesson will commence at its intended time.

Group Classes are NOT RECOMMENDED for individuals with restrictions, injuries or who are experiencing pain. Advanced registration is required for all group classes. We do not permit “walk ins” at the studio, due to the intimate and challenging work of Pilates. It is at the teacher’s discression whether or not a client may enroll in a group class. You may discuss your classwork future at the end of your initial evaluation lesson.

PAYMENTS

We accept cash or personal check ONLY. A $35 fee will be assessed for each returned check. Payments for all services are non-refundable. All Combo Cards, Class Cards and Packages will be activated within 1 week of purchase. Expiration dates are firm, 6 or 12 weeks from date of purchase dependent on type of package. Confirm at registration. No refunds.

CANCELLATIONS

Clients must cancel appointments and classes at least 24 hours in advance. Full payment will be assessed for late cancellations. Provisions may be made for emergency cases, but are at the disclosure of the director of the studio. We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. Clients will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.

PROTOCOL

Client Information and Waiver forms must be completed prior to the first visit. (Download here) Clients must sign-in at the Front Desk upon arrival. For safety, clients who arrive more than 10 minutes late to a group class will not be permitted to join the class.

In the event of inclement weather, closing and delayed opening information will be posted on our website and recorded on our voice message. The decision will be made by 7:00 am for morning classes and appointments, and two hours prior to the afternoon schedule. We do not call clients individually. It is the responsibility of each client to check the website or the voice message.
